How do I apply for an iBanking account with DBS / POSB?
To use DBS iBanking, all you need to have is at least one of these DBS or POSB accounts – DBS Autosave/S$ Current/Savings PLUS or POSB Savings/Current account.

Note that you will need to apply for the iB Message service, a mandatory one-time authorisation, to conduct funds transfer services via iBanking.

Following are three easy ways to apply for DBS iBanking:

1. Apply for DBS iBanking online
DBS made it easier for you to apply for an iBanking account by introducing an online application service. Simply click here to apply online.

You can continue to apply for iB Message online after you have completed your iBanking online application. Click here to find out more.

2. Apply for DBS iBanking via ATMs
Please follow the steps below to apply for iBanking via an ATM:

Step 1: Insert card* and enter your ATM PIN
Step 2: Select “More Services” and then choose the language of your choice.
Step 3: Select “PIN Services/Internet Banking”
Step 4: Choose “Apply for iBanking PIN”

At this point, a screen will display to prompt customer to verify and confirm on current address to ensure all correspondence relating to iBanking are sent to the right address.

Step 5: Enter your choice of a 6-digit iBanking PIN

To apply for iB Message at the same time

Step 6: Select “Mobile Phone Country of Registration”
Step 7: Key in your mobile or message pager number and press “Enter”

Your new internet banking (iB) PIN is accepted and your User ID and iB Message mobile number is printed on the Transaction Receipt. Please retain your Transaction Receipt.

Your DBS iB Secure Device will be mailed to your address as per the bank records within 4 working days.

To access DSB iBanking, you will need your User ID, iBanking PIN and DBS iB Secure Device.

If you are re-applying for DBS iBanking access, please use your existing DBS iB Secure Device to login immediately.

*Includes DBS BankCard, ALUMNUS Card, POSB ATM card, & Debit Card with activated ATM functions and excludes VISA.

3. Apply for DBS iBanking via mail
Click here to be directed to the mail-in application form. An alternative to a purely online application, this option enables you to apply for iB Message at the same time as applying for your iBanking account.

For new iBanking customers, please note that DBS will not be sending you a separate PIN mailer. Please visit www.dbs.com/sg/personal/ibanking/apply  to create your PIN (between 6 to 9 digits).

If you do not have an ATM card, please call 1800 111 1111 for a PIN mailer to be sent.

New Application Via OCBC ATM
Please follow the steps below to apply for Internet Banking at any OCBC ATMs.

Step 2: Select “Other Services” after entering your ATM PIN.
Step 3: Select “Other Services”.
Step 4: Select “Phone Banking/Internet Banking”.
Step 5: Select “Internet Banking Application” and enter your new 6 digit Internet Banking PIN.
Step 6: To confirm, enter your new 6 digit Internet Banking PIN again.
Step 7: End of application. Transaction receipt will state Internet Banking access code for first log-in.

Following are other methods to apply or re-activation Internet Banking:

2. Via OCBC ATM

  • Insert your OCBC ATM card
  • Select "Other Services" after entering your ATM PIN
  • Select "Other Services"
  • Select "Internet / Mobile / Phone Banking"
  • Select "Internet / Mobile Banking Application"
  • Enter your new 6-digit Internet Banking PIN
  • To confirm, enter your new 6-digit Internet Banking PIN again. A transaction receipt will be issued to you, stating your access code for your login.
  • Select the 2FA token of your choice and follow the onscreen instructions.


3. By Mail
Collect and complete an online banking application form from any OCBC branches.

  • Monthly Limit: SGD$10,000 per month per user

Can I use credit card to purchase @Cash via eNETS?
Currently Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd only supports Direct Debit Cards issued by bank for purchase of @Cash via eNETS.

Why do I have a problem submitting Credit / Debit card details on eNETS Credit Card entry page? (e.g. textbox not enabled)
You may not have the latest Java platform working for you. To resolve this issue, download the latest Java plug-in at http://java.com/en/index.jsp

To enable Scripting of Java Applets, following these steps:

For IE 5.0 or higher – Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Security (tab)
Click Internet -> Click Custom Level
Scroll down until Scripting of Java Applets
Click enable – Click ok to exit dialog box


Why do I have a problem submitting credit / Debit card details on eNETS Credit / Debit Card entry page after I have installed the latest Java plug-in?
Clear the java plug-in cache to ensure that the browser loads the latest versions of Java applications and applets.

Open Java console.

Click on Start -> Control Panel -> Java.

At the General Tab, under “Temporary Internet Files” section, click on Settings.
In the pop-up window, check both the check boxes and click the OK button.

If clearing Java plug-in cache did not solve the problem, you should also clear your browser’s cache.

In Internet Explorer:

Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools in the upper toolbar.
Click Internet Options.
Click the General tab
Click Delete under “Browsing History”.
Click Delete Files under “Temporary Internet Files”.
Click Yes on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click Close and then OK.
Exit and re-launch the browser.

In Netscape:

Open Netscape.
Click Tools in the upper toolbar and select Options.
Select Privacy under Options on the left side of the screen.
Click Cache.
Click Clear Cache.
